A rusty former Soo Line caboose. Franklin Park IL. March 2009.

I photographed this digital live sound video on location, at the Edgington Street railroad crossing, in northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois.

Although most railroads had stopped using cabooses on the rear of most freight trains by the early to mid 1980's, and that the former Soo Line Railroad was merged in to the Canadian Pacific Railroad in 1990...the best of both past worlds exisits today for many local Chicago area railfans in Franklin Park Illinois.

An eastbound Canadian Pacific local freight train being led by a former Soo Line EMD roadswitcher, and trailed by a very rusty former Soo Line wide vision caboose from the 1970's era passed by on the former Milwaukee Road west line.

This video was photographed one early Springtime morning, back in March of 2009.
