I took this photo during a hot Summer day back in July of 2007.

We are on location at the Metra Grand / Cicero Avenue commuter rail station in Chicago's Cragin neighborhood. To the left is a Norfolk Southern freight train waiting on a hold order at nearby Cragin Junction. To the right is a quick moving Canadian Pacific intermodal double stack container train. The Canadian Pacific train is passing through Cragin Junction and entering on to the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks at the interchange. Once clearance is granted to the Norfolk Southern train, the NS train will depart from the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks and enter on to the westbound Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road mainline.
