Hello everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page from the city of Chicago Illinois USA.
As You may have heard lately, the entire Chicago area was recently buried under the heavy lake effect blizzard snowstorm of Tuesday, February 1st, 2011. The blizzard snowstorm started up around 2:15 PM on Tuesday Feb 1st, and didn't stop snowing until approximately 11:00 AM the next day.
Seen here a day after the heavy snows had finally stopped falling, and yet before the entire Chicago area had a chance to start digging out of it all, is a view of the aftermath looking west on Oakton Street, in north suburban Skokie Illinois.
Snow? Ha! Bring it on!
At least that is what the driver of this eastbound snowplow equipped pick up truck with the saying "Got Snow?" painted on his red plow is proboubly thinking.
It was definately a very profitable time for people owning snow plowing equipment in the greater Chicagoland area.
Thanks.
Eddie K.
