Pennsylvania Railroad K 4 class Pacific steam locomotive on a passenger train passing through Englewood Station. Chicago Illinois circa 1930's.

I found this historic Chicago railroad photograph at My link page Fallen Flags.Org to the right of Your computer screen.

A northbound Pennsylvania Railroad heavyweight passenger train enroute to Chicago Union Station, is viewed passing through Englewood station at West 63rd and South Halsted Streets, in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood during the 1930's.

The train is being pulled by a standard Pennsylvania Railroad K-4 Class 4-6-2 Pacific type passenger service locomotive.

Two PRR K-4 Pacifics are preserved today in the State of Pennsylvania. One at the Pennsylvania State Railroad Museum in Strasburg Pennsylvania, and the other undergoing restoration at the Railroaders Memorial Hall Museum in Altoona Pennsylvania.
