The Oak Park IL Society of Model Engineers.

I photographed this digital live sound video recently, at The Oak Park Society of Model Engineers H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

The club meets in the basement of the Oak Park Public Library's Dole Learning Center building at 255 Augusta Street, on Monday and Wednsday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Seen here rolling by the camera, is My circa 1972 representation, of an early merger era freight train from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.

On August 10th, 1972...the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio and the Ilinois Central railroads had merged, and became the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.

Unfortunately...that is not My Life Like Proto 2000 Illinois Central EMD SW 9 tooting it's horn, as My locomotive actually isn't sound equipped. The horn is actually coming from fellow club member Jason's early 1950's era Milwaukee Road Hiawatha passenger train in the near distance.

Still, it was a nice little surprise anyway. What timing!

Thanks.
Eddie K.
