Garfield Goose and Friends theme song

I spotted this classic piece of local Chicago childrens television on You Tube today.

For many Chicagoans both current and former like Myself who had grown up in Chicago during the 1960's and 70's (Or earlier even), a popular local Chicago childrens television show, was Garfield Goose and Friends wich aired on WGN Chicago Cannel 9 from the early 1950's, until the mid 1970's.

This program wich was hosted by the now late great Frazier Thomas ( 1918-1985) featured cartoons, live action sketches involving puppets, and a seggment known as "Hobby Corner" occasionally.

This is the full lenght version of the Garfield Goose and Friends theme song, wich is performed by the late great organist Ethel Smith. The actual title of the song is "Monkey on a string."
