Leviathan at IRM Part 3: Labor Day Weekend


I found this video on You Tube.

Seen here is the visiting "replica" steam locomotive Leviathan, wich was scratchbuilt using plans from the original Central Pacific Railroad's Leviathan, built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1868.

The prototype, was one of several locomotives that were used to build America's first transcontinental railroad during the 1860's.
