1960's era Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe switching local.

I photographed this digital live sound video recently, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

My Bachman Alco S 4 yard switcher in 1950's era Santa Fe "Zebra" colors, is viewed pulling a 1960's era Santa Fe switching local on the club layout.

Although the real Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad had began to paint their switcher locomotives in a blue and yellow color scheme in 1960, it would take a while to get around to either repaint or retire the engines in the old color scheme. Several Santa Fe switchers wore this color scheme in to the late 1960's.
