There is nothing like going on location for a fun evening of local railfanning with a camera in hand. Heck! It's even better when You get together with a good friend or two.
Seen here at the Metra La Grange Road Amtrak / Metra commuter rail station in west suburban La Grange Illinois, is My good friend and fellow Chicago railfan Anthony C.
We got together one evening after work last week, for some twilight /nocturanl railfanning in La Grange Illinois.
With the Metra evening rush hour ending, We photographed a parade of freight trains, the eastbound Amtrak Illinois Zephyr, and a few Metra locals.
We had a great time on location at the Ashland Avenue railroad crossing that night.
