I took this photo after work one cold winters evening, in Febuary of 2007. With 8 degrees above zero Farenheight temperatures outside and a bitter wind blowing in out of the west, a short eastbound CN local with tank cars in tow, prepares to cross the Belt Railway of Chicago crosstracks and enter inside Chicago city limits. This little two car tank train, is being pulled by a former Grand Trunk Western locomotive acquired through merger. Soon this little train will be arriving at Crawford Yard for some evening switching dutties in the bitter cold.
