Wooden early 1900's era interurbans still haul passengers today. The East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum. East troy Wisconsin USA. September 2006.

I took this photo on a September 2006 visit to the East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum, located north of Lake Geneva in the village of East Troy Wisconsin.

In the days before Greyhound buses, these wooden one or two car ( Or even more.) electric trolley interurban trains, carried passengers and parcel freight from any large or medium city, to the outlying rural or suburban towns.

Life was much simpler before urban sprawl and shopping centers in many parts of our nation. This electric interurban car is from the city of Sheboygan Wisconsin.
