I took this photo after work on a cloudy evening in September of 2006. A westbound Canadian National freight train is seen passing the railroad grade crossing on Des Plaines Avenue in North Riverside Illinois. I took this photo looking west from the northern edge of Commons Park. The increasing cloud activity in the sky with the varying shades of gray color, indicates that the weather is changing. A large thunderstorm with torrential rains would arrive in this area in the upcoming hour, with plenty of lightning.Tuesday, April 15, 2008
