Saint Richard's Catholic Church summer carnival. South Kostner Avenue and West 50th Street. Chicago Illinois USA. July 1988.

Hi everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page.

2008 started out with a brutally long and cold Winter season with more than our local share of Lake Efect snowstorms.

The good news is that Spring is officially here! Soon it will be summer carnival season here in the Windy City. Yaaaaay!

I took this photo in July of 1988 at Saint Richard's Catholic Parish, located near Chicago's Midway Airport on the southwest side of the city. It was a fun carnival I attended with plenty of rides, good entertainment, and family fun for all. This photo is a happy reminder of things to come.
