Located inside Chicago's Northwest Industrial Park between West Lake Street and west Chicago Avenue, is this busy mainline railroad crossing at North kilbourn avenue, just north of west Lake Street. A blue City of Chicago department of Streets and Sanitation garbage truck, waits at the crossing while a speeding westbound Metra commuter train, heads for Elburn Illinois on the fly. This mainline in years past, was originally the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad.
