This was one of My very first attempts at shooting night time 35mm photographs.
I took this late night photo on a cold and windy night in March of 1983. Seen here at the La Grange Road Amtrak / Commuter rail station in west suburban La Grange Illinois, is an Aurora bound late night Burlington Northern commuter local. The idling of the locomotive, and the railroad crossing bells temporarily disturb the late night silence on this late winters night.
