I took this photo looking out of the front windshield of My car. A southbound Metra mid day commuter local, has just left the Glen of North Glenview Metra commuter rail station. The train is passing through the railroad crossing on Chestnut Avenue. This is the former Milwaukee Road commuter line to Fox Lake Illinois. Metra commuter trains, Amtrak, and Canadian Pacific freight trains use this line daily.
