I took this photo looking south from the north entrance to the Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard, in southwest suburban Bedford Park Illinois. Two Canadian National owned locomotives idle at the locomotive shops and terminal, while cuts of freight cars are being classified and rolled downhill to be made up in to various freight trains. Clearing Yard is a major Chicago freight railroad terminal.
