I took this photo one sunny winter morning, back in January of 2007.
A speeding eastbound Metra rush hour commuter train, is viewed passing underneath the Belt Railway of Chicago "Flyover" junction at West kinzie Street and North Kenton Avenue on the west side of the city of Chicago.
The train is traveling over the Metra / Union Pacific west line. This former Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad mainline, sees daily commuter train operation between Chicago and Elburn Illinois.
The shabby looking brick factory building to the right of the photograph, is the abandoned Brach's Candy Factory.
