ATTENTION ALL AMUSEMENT PARK FANS!


Hi everyone!  This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

Be sure to join Me in the upstairs meeting room of the Eisenhower Public Library, located at 4613 North Oketo Avenue in Harwood Heights Illinois on Saturday, May 12th from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.

I will be hosting a photo slideshow -Multi Media and Lecture event entitled "Kiddieland Memories"!

This event pays an historical tribute to Chicago's Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois, wich closed for good after 81 years of operation on Sunday, September 27th, 2009.

Aside from the many photos and home video snipets of Kiddieland Amusement Park, I will also be showing several photos of some of Chicago's "Other" seasonal family owned amusement parks from the past as well.

If You could remember fun summertime places like Riverview Park in Chicago Illinois, Fairyland in Lyons Illinois, Adventure Land in Addison Illinois, Playland Park in unincorporated S W suburban Justice Illinois, or even Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom in Oak Brook Terrace Illinois...then You definately won't wan't to miss this fun family oriented event at the Eisenhower Public Library.
