I took this photo after work one hot and hazy Summer afternoon, back in June of 2007.
We are on location along the Chicago city limits, at the border of west suburban Cicero Illinois.
A westbound Canadian National freight train with locomotives acquired through merger in 1999 from the former Illinois Central Railroad, passes through Hawthorne Junction on the former Illinois Central Railroad's Iowa Division Mainline.
This train is passing through the Belt Railway of Chicago crosstracks. (Out of view behind Me.) The hill in the background to the right, is the site of the abandoned Bell Air Drive In Movie Theatre.
