One of the railroads that eventually would make up todays BNSF Railway, was the former Saint Louis & San Francisco Railroad (Frisco), wich was acquired through merger by the BNSF Railway predecessor company Burlington Northern Railroad in the year of 1980.

Through out it's existance, the Frisco was a large user of cabooses. This modern wide vision cupola model from the late 1960's and early 1970's era, was photographed at Fort Worth Texas on December 26th, 1973 by railfan photographer Bill Phillips.

This photograph and several other wonderful ones, can be found at My Link page Fallen Flags.Org, located to the right of Your computer screen at http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/.
