1920's era brick bungalow houses on West Addison Street in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood. Chicago Illinois USA. July 2012., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page, from the city of Chicago Illinois USA.
Although this is basically a transportation enthusiasts blogsite featuring many photographs of trains and buses, I also enjoy including those special interest photos of non transportation related subjects as well.
My various photographs taken in Chicago's neighborhoods, has always been an appealing reason for the success of My blogsite, as I enjoy incorporating images of day to day life here in Chicago Illinois.
The north side of the city of Chicago, features many old neighborhoods and brick homes from the 1920's to the earlier 1800's era still standing in good condition in a number of locations today.
These 1920's era brick bungalow style houses, were photographed along the north side of West Addison Street just west of the intersection of North Major Avenue, in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood.
Thanks.
Eddie K.

Such classic good looks. They're so popular, so in-demand, that I wonder why they can't be built today with modern touches, like adequate insulation and proper HVAC.
