I took this photograph one hot summer morning, way back in July of 1985.
A soon to be retired 1960's era Flxible transit bus from the Chicago Transit Authority, waits for departure time from the bus terminal loop at South Kedzie Avenue and West 63rd Place, in Chicago's Marquette Park neighborhood.
This bus is assigned to the CTA Rt # 52 Kedzie / California Avenue bus route today.
The remaining CTA Flxible transit uses from the 1960's, were in their last year of service for the Chicago Transit Authority, and would be retired in 1986.
