The Oak Park Society of Model Engineers H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.Oak Park Illinois USA. July 2011.

I took this photograph last year, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers, H.o Scale Model Railroad Club.

Seen here crossing the club's trestle bridge representing a Missisippi River crossing at the Iowa border, is My early merger era (Circa 1972) Illinois Central Gulf railroad switching local.

The locomotive is a Life Like Proto 2000 EMD SW 9 yard switcher, wearing the Illinois Central's pre 1967 black and white locomotive color scheme with the green diamond logo. The box car coupled behind the locomotive, is wearing the Illinois Central's orange 1967 "New Image" color scheme with the split rail logo (out of sight to the right.)

The model railroad club has since replaced this bridge with a larger two track model.
