For many years, electric powered trolleybuses, were a popular and polution free way to travel by public transportation in many citties both in the United States and Canada.

I spotted this late 1960's era photograph from the Toronto Transit Commision of Canada at My Link page Tom's Trolleybus Pictures, located to the right of your computer screen at http://www.trolleybuses.net/.

Seen here at the Toronto Transit Commision's Lansdowne transit garage facility in the city of Toronto Ontario Canada, is a beautiful red and cream colored TTC 1948 Marmon Harrington trolley bus.
This photograph was taken on March 31st, 1969.

Notice the newer 1960's era TTC General Motors TDH Series new look fishbowl windshield transit buses parked at the transit facility in the background.
