I took this photograph after work one afternoon, back in June of 2007.
Seen here at the Chicago city limits border at west suburban Cicero Illinois, is a southbound Canadian National transfer freight train entering on to the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks at the Hawthorne Junction interchange.
This train is viewed departing from the CN's former Illinois Central Hawthorne Yard in nearby Cicero Illinois.
