The Forest Park Public Library located at 7555 Jackson Boulevard in Forest Park Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian , photographer and multi media producer Edward Kwiatkowski to the library on Sunday, July 15th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.
Eddie will be hosting a multi media video, slideshow and lecture presentation honoring the recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois. ( 1928 -2009.) Aside from the many photos and video clips that Eddie had taken during the last three years of operation at Kiddieland, He will also be showing several photographs of many of Chicago's now long gone and historic amusement parks of the past.
If You can remember Riverview Park in Chicago Illinois, Adventure Land in Addison Illinois, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, Old Chicago in Bolingbrook Illinois, Kiddy Town in Norridge Illinois, or any other number of the now long gone Chicago area amsuement parks from the past, then You won't want to miss this very fun and family oriented presentation at the Forest Park Public Library.
