Another very unlikely two train meet.

I photographed this digital live sound video this past Wednsday night, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

I love model train clubs like this one where periods and prototypes are often mixed at any given session.
This leads to some rare lineside railfanning opportunities not possible in todays real world out there.

A very unlikely two train meet occured here on the club layout, when a long gone 1930's era
Milwaukee Road streamlined steam powered Hiawatha passenger train, passes a mid 1960's era
Belt Railway of Chicago Alco C425 roadswitcher on a freight train.

The Milwaukee Road had scrapped all of these steam powered Hiawatha service locomotives by the early
to mid 1950's, and the Belt Railway of Chicago retired these Alco roadswitchers in 1999.
