North Osceola Avenue getting fresh black top. Chicago Illinois. Thursday, June 29th, 2012.

I took this photograph during My lunch break last week Thursday.

The city of Chicago Illinois, has seen more than it's share of infrastructure improvements lately on the north side of the city.

North Osceola Avenue, just north of the intersection at West Belmont Avenue, was in the process of having fresh black top applied to the surface of a very recently bumpy and pothole ridden street.

This crew from the City of Chicago department of Streets and Sanitation, was out there working in 100 degree plus heat, making sure that the asphalt is laid out and rolled properly.
