I took this photograph during a rainy August 1st, 2009 afternoon in Franklin Park Illinois.
Preserved Lima Locomotive Works 1941 built Southern Pacific Railroad GS 4 Daylight 4-8-4
steam locomotive # 4449, was visiting Franklin Park Illinois, and was temporarilly placed on display adjacent to the town's Historic Tower B 12 exhibit alongside Franklin Avenue.
Occasionally, the locomotive's crew would blow the whistle for demonstration sake.
