Chicago Fire Department station on North Elston Avenue. Chicago Illinois USA. July 2007.

Hello everybody!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page from the city of Chicago.

I took this photo on My way to a sales call at work one day last week. This is the Chicago Fire Department station at the corner of Elston and Roscoe on Chicago's northside. The CFD is a proud Chicago institution that serves and protects the city of Chicago, as well as educates
the public on fire safety.

Firefighters, much like railroaders, are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These people risk their lives everyday in the line of duty, to stop fires and to save lives. They are everyday heros.

Eddie's Railfan Page salutes the Brave Men and Woman of the Chicago Fire Department.

Thank You CFD.
Eddie K.

I agree that this would be very ideal to some who plan to get involved in
Chicago Fire Department. Thanks so much for this informative post.
