Northbound Metra commuter rail train arriving at the Edgebrook commuter rail depot. Chicago Illinois USA. June 2007.

I took this photo looking west on Devon Avenue, at the intersection of North Central Avenue. A northbound Metra commuter local, has stopped to pick up, and detrain passengers on Chicago's far northwest side. Edgebrook is a pleasant and upscale Chicago neighborhood, near the suburban villages of Niles and Skokie. Prior to 1985, this rail line was the former Milwaukee Road Railroad mainline. Commuter service on this line operates between Chicago and Fox Lake Illinois. Some of the towns served on this line are Morton Grove, Glenview , Roundout, and Grays Lake.
