I took this photo last Sunday evening at the Glen Ellen Illinois Metra commuter rail station at Main Street. A speeding eastbound Union Pacific Railroad container train, is passing through the Metra commuter rail station heading toward Chicago Illinois. The far west suburban Glen Ellen Metra commuter rail station, is located on the Metra / Union Pacific -West line to Elburn Illinois. Glen Ellen is a quaint and upscale village in Chicago's western suburbs near Wheaton and Lombard Illinois. There is a lot of mainline train spotting here to be enjoyed. Please be cautious.The trains fly through here at speed. Safety 1st.
