There is nothing like a lovely afternoon of Autum railfanning at the Chicago city limits. Seen here is a Canadian National transfer train, that is departing from the former Illinois Central Hawthorne Yard in nearby west suburban Cicero Illinois. The train is slowly rounding the southbound interchange curve at the Chicago border, and will soon be heading southbound over the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks.
