I took this photo one evening after work, in July of 2008 in west suburban Brookfield Illinois. Located immediately to the west of the Prairie Avenue BNSF Railway railroad crossing, is this large and very tall overhead signal bridge that controls train traffic on the BNSF ex Burlington Northern -pre 1970 Chicago Burlington & Quincy 3 track commuter mainline to Aurora Illinois. This busy mainline is nicknamed "The Racetrack", and sees many trains at any given time. The colorful sunset and the lights of the color indication signals looked nice together for this end of the day mood photograph.
