I took this photo one hot summer afternoon, in August of 2008. We are looking northeast from the corner at South Archer and Normal Avenues, in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. This Amtrak train is obviously on the last leg of it's journey as it slowly passes through the near southside of Chicago, and will soon be arriving downtown at Chicago Union Station.
