I took this photo during a May 1990 family vacation I went on to the Great Smokey Mountains in the States of Tennesee and North Carolina. The Dollywood Express pulled by a 3 foot Narrow Guage 2-8-2 coal burning steam locomotive, has just departed one of the parks boarding stations, and is now slowly working upgrade under load conditions. The steam era lives at Dollywood.
