I ran from the parking lot of the adjacent Metra commuter rail station in north suburban Northbrook Illinois, when I heard the nearby crossing bells ringing. Unfortunately...I didn't make it to the trackside in time, but I did partially capture a speeding northbound Amtral Hiawatha service train enroute to Milwaukee Wisconsin racing through Northbrook on a quiet Sunday morning.
