A vintage 1890's era publicity photograph from the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad.

I bought this reproduction publicity photo postcard at a local Chicago are postcard and stamp collectors flea market during the early 1990's. Seen here is an old 1890's era publicity photograph from the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad promoting their First Class "California Limited" deluxe passenger train. In the decades before the famous Superchief and El Capitan name trains came along, this train was the number one first class train to be found on the system. This train offered many ammenities, and catered to mostly Wealthy patrons and business travelers.
