A heavy January snowstorm fell on the city of Chicago Illinois this morning, and soon I was on location at Hayford Junction with a camera in My hand after the snow stopped falling in the early afternoon. An eastbound Belt Railway of Chicago transfer train being pulled by mid 1960's vinatge Alco C-425 roadswitchers, departs Clearing Yard, and will soon proceed over the nearby Grand Trunk western Railroad crosstracks at Hayford Junction. I took this photo looking east near the South Pulaski Road overpass bridge.
