One day in June of 1996, I decided to travel from Chicago to Harvard illinois on
the Metra / Chicago & NorthWestern RR Northwest line, while I was on a one week
vacation from My job in Alsip Illinois. I took this photo after detraining in downtown Harvard Illinois. The Conductor has just thrown the track switch, and this Metra train is now about to back out of Harvard Illinois and possibly head back to downtown Chicago Illinois. It would be about 3 Hours before another Metra would arrive back here at Harvard, so I spent a leisurely afternoon in this pleasant
farm town in Mc Henry County enjoying a change of scenery.
