A Canadian National transfer freight train has just departed the former Illinois Central Railroad Hawthorne Yard in nearby west suburban Cicero Illinois. The train is crossing over an industrial lead track siding on the southbound interchange curve at Hawthorne Junction. The train is entering in to the city of Chicago Illinois, and will soon be heading southbound over the Belt Railway of Chicagoat the Chicago city limits.
