An eastbound Union Pacific transfer train with a former Missour Pacific locomotive departing Clearing Yard. Chicago Illinois USA. April 1987.
An eastbound Union Pacific transfer freight train, is seen departing the Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard, on a lovely Springtime afternoon in April of 1987. On the head end, is a former Missouri Pacific RR locomotive acquired by the Union Pacific in a 1982 merger that acquired the Missouri Pacific RR, or "Mo Pac" as it was nicknamed for many years. The train is seen passing underneath the South Pulaski Road bridge near approximately west 75th Street.
