I took this photo on a May 1990 family vacatiion We went on to the Great Smokey Mountains in the States of Tennesee and North Carolina, way back in May of 1990. Seen here in one of the amusement park boarding stations at Dollywood, located in Pidgeon Forge Tennesee, is a narrow guage steam train waiting for it's next departure. This locomotive is a 1940's era 3 foot guage 2-8-2m Mikado type steam locomotive, that originally worked in Alask hauling trains on the White Pass and Yukon Railroad.
