I took this photo after work one Indian Summer afternoon, in early October of 2007. A 4 unit set of BNSF Railway locomotives running light, are seen heading northbound crossing the Canadian National ex Illinois Central crosstracks at Hawthorne Junction. The locomotives are traveling northbound over the Belt Railway of Chicago, and are returning to the busy BNSF Railway Clyde Yard in nearby Cicero Illinois.
