I took this photo on My June 1985 visit to the Galesburg Illinois Railroad Days celebration. Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia Pennsylvania in the year of 1930, C,B & Q # 3006 operated in fast passenger train service until retirement in the late 1950's. This 4-6-4 Hudson Type steam locomotive, was donated for display to the city of Galesburg Illinois by the C,B & Q Railroad in 1961. Today, it is the centerpiece of the Galesburg Railroad Museum.
