I took this photo I believe, in April of 1984. For may years, the Huck Finn Donuts restaurant on the northeast corner of South Archer and Kedzie Avenue's, was a local landmark in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood on Chicago's southwest side. I used to transfer to CTA buses here at this corner in the days before I owned My first car. It was particularly a welcome stop for Me during the wintertime for a hot coffee and a donut or two to go. The owners of the locally popular Huck Finn Donuts chain, had closed this franchise location in recent years. Today it is the site of a Yale Insurance Agency Office. They are still using the same building.
