A Lake Effect snowstorm was taking place in the greater Chicagoland area on this December morning. It is approximately 5:42 AM at the Metra / Amtrak train station in north suburban Glenview Illinois, as the southbound early morning rush hour local resumes it's journey to Chicago Union Station.
