This photo was taken of Me, during an October 2009 Family visit to Goebert's Farm Stand in northwest suburban Barrington Illinois.
While not exactly one of the many Canadian National freight trains traveling over the former Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railroad through Barrington Illinois these days, this wooden mock up of a steam train in the playground area makes a nice photo prop nonetheless.
I grew up in the city of Chicago, and have been taking railfan photos of various Chicago area railroads since 1983. I hope that You enjoy My blogsite.
From the looks of it, this little train appears to be stopped waiting on a hold order. Ha ha ha!
