Indiana Harbor Belt branchline crossing signal. Summit Illinois USA. August 2006.

This branchline crossing signal, stands in the middle of south Harlem Avenue, just south of west 59th Street in the village of Summit Illinois. This industrial branchline crossing normally isn't occupied by train activity when I am in the area.
However...I have seen it for Myself in the past.
When the IHB switching local comes through here, and the crossing gates go down...All traffic on south Harlem Avenue comes to a complete stop, and most of the time is backed up.
I have seen many morning traffic jams in the past here, caused by the switching local. I have even seen the crossing gates get replaced a few times, as sometimes speeding semi trucks broke the lowering crossing gates.
